John also built and operates with his family the charming B&B known as La VIlla de Soledad on the Cangrejal River in La Ceiba. John has spent years protecting the environment at the Cangrejal River and is President of the Guaruma non profit school manned by volunteers from around the world dedicated to protecting and educating the residents of this wonderful water shed on proper environmental practices. He is an avid rafting fanatic who goes rafting every chance he gets which is often considering he has his lovely La Villa de Soledad B&B on the property used by tour operators to put their rafts in.
