Located at the Roatan Resort Community of Lawson Rock, the Hungry Kiwi Cafe & Bar is set in a pleasant commercial area. The inside room is air conditioned and has an outstanding kitchen that you can see into while they are cooking your meal.

Open daily except Sundays for breakfast and lunch until 3 p.m. They have an excellent breakfast and lunch menu, with a pleasant cheerful atmosphere, and good service. Coffee is some of the best to be found on the island. Prices are reasonable, and it is a good place to meet expats living on the island. Four nights a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) they open up for dinner, featuring lamb, prime rib, and fish on different nights. The Hungry Kiwi has a nice selection of wines. The Beach Grill at Blue Bahia – Sandy Bay, Roatan

Pleasant beach front setting in Sandy Bay. U.S. owners from Tennessee have brought with them the art of “smoking”. They have built their own red brick smoker on premises, so the restaurant offers the only home smoked ribs and pork on the island! An extensive menu on the blackboard changes daily, and features fresh catches as well as good fish and beef options. Kent, the owner, is a friendly chap, always ready to go out of his way to make you happy. A very nice setting in a pleasant little resort, all built under a huge ceiba tree. Ice cold beers and a full international bar.
