Tribunal Supremo Electoral (TSE)
Supreme Electoral Tribunal
The Organization of American States (OAS), with the agreement of the Supreme Electoral Tribunal, provided an Electoral Observation Mission (EOM) for the primary elections on November 18, 2012.
USAID engages with Honduran election authorities and civil society groups to implement reforms and improve management systems for free and fair elections. Activities assist the Honduran Supreme Electoral Tribunal to train poll workers and introduce practices that increase transparency. USAID also supports civil society’s efforts to monitor campaign finances, perform parallel vote tabulations, observe voting processes on election day, and advocate for improvements in the electoral process.
IFES is an international, nonprofit organization that has worked closely with the Honduran Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) on behalf of USAID to strengthen their capacity to promote greater gender participation in the electoral process.
