Enter the absolutely incredible world of the butterfly and insect museum located in La Ceiba, Honduras. This unique museum hosts over 6000 butterflies and moths collected from remote areas throughout Honduras. Adorning two walls of the 1000 square foot museum are bright red, iridescent blue, and intricate wing patterns that delight the viewer's eyes. This nonprofit museum contains the personal collection of Mr. Robert Lehman who has been collecting these insects for over 30 years. We sincerely hope that you can visit the museum someday to enjoy this natural beauty with your own eyes. Mrs. Lehman is a retired school teacher and would be happy to give you a personal guided tour. Please return to this page, we plan to provide additional pictures for your enjoyment in the near future.
