Mexico head coach Jose Manuel de la Torre did not include Carlos Vela or Guillermo Ochoa in his team’s squad to face Honduras and the United States.

Both have been in good club form in recent weeks, but neither was expected to make the 23-man roster. Real Sociedad striker Vela has been on the outside looking in since March 2011 following repeated rejections of call-ups, while Ajaccio keeper Ochoa reportedly demanded to be guaranteed the starting job over Jose de Jesus Corona.

There is a strong domestic bias to the roster, with just seven of the 23 playing for clubs outside Liga MX. This includes 20-year-old defender Diego Reyes, who was named despite his inability to crack the starting lineup at FC Porto.

Javier Hernandez of Manchester United is the only foreign-based player outside the Iberian Peninsula.

With three players apiece, Cruz Azul, Tigres and Monterrey are the most represented clubs in the squad.

Mexico will play Hondurasa the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City on Sept. 6, 2013 before playing vs the USA on Sept. 10.

So yes, this Honduras vs Mexico is a qualifying match for Honduras to get to the world cup in Brazil in 2014.

We all thought that our match vs the USA on February 6th was the key game of the CONCACAF Hexagonal but guess what; it seems that since we defeated the USA (We WON that game playing soccer!) and Mexico did not win its first match of the Hexagonal everyone around the world including ESPN is going crazy because Honduras is in FIRST PLACE in the Hexagonal. Unfortunately they are saying we don’t deserve it and are not world class and if all goes well Honduras will defeat Mexico tomorrow afternoon and everyone will say it was because of the weather in San Pedro Sula (it gets hot there and Mexico is not used to that).

But hey, we Catrachos will take the win anyway we can get it although our Honduras National Team is ready to play World Class Soccer.

So along with 300 plus journalist from Mexico alone attending the game, Let’s go Seleccion give them all something to talk about!

We will keep this article updated with the final Honduras vs Mexico roster as well as throughout the game live.

Okay everyone, CONCENTRATE!!! Don’t let the media get to you; what do they know anyway they all just sit there and make up things to talk about. On that note, there really is nothing else to be said until the final details about the temperature in San Pedro Sula (Haha)  as well as the team rosters are final.

Here is Honduras Final Roster for the soccer match Honduras vs Mexico 2013

In his final press conference prior to the game of Honduras vs Mexico Friday March 22, 2013 at 3:00pm local time in San Pedro Sula at the Olympic Stadium, Honduras National Team soccer coach Luis Fernando Suárez had no problem in giving us his final roster of National Team Soocer players that will participate in the Honduras vs Mexico 2014 Futbol Match..

Of the eleven Honduras “La Seleccion” “La H” “La Bicolor” “Los Catrachos” players that started against United States on February 6, 2013 coach Suarez will only make one change and that change in the roster will be that of replacing Juan Carlos García with Emilio Izaguirre.
“It will be the only change in relation to the last game,” said the native Colombian coach at a crowded press conference held in a very direct and simple way.
Moreover, Honduras Coach already had announced on Tuesday, that Noel Valladares will be the goalkeeper, Víctor Bernárdez and Maynor Figueroa will be the midfielders.
Emilio Izaguirre will be positioned on the left and Arnold Peralta on  the right. At  the Center will be Luis Garrido and Roger Espinoza, such as steering wheel right Boniek García and Mario Martínez in another sector.
The forwards assigned to attack Mexico will remain Carlo Costly and Jerry Bengtson.
