Honduras first sent a team to the Olympics at the Mexico City 1968 Olympic Games. The six-man team competed in Athletics. Santiago Fonseca finished 27th in the men’s 20km walk at the Montreal 1976 Olympic Games. He also competed in 1984 and 1988.
