| | | WHAT ARE THE GOALS OF THE FOUNDATION? | The foundationīs primary goal is to create the necessary conditions to achieve the adaptation of the individual with Down syndrome by overcomming his limitations and thereby achieving an adequate social integration.  | | It is important to underscore that the physical and psychological necessities of individuals with Down syndrome are the same as that of any other person. All humans strive for physical integration, good health, good nutrition, cleanliness and personal hygiene, love and attention and social acceptance. | Objectives - To provide support and information on Down syndrome to parents, medical authorities, and teachers throughout the entire country.
- To teach the community that children and adults with Down syndrome deserve an environment which fosters their growth and development to enable them to achieve their full potential.
- To promote the openning of chapters throughout the republic.
